Sleep & Meditation

Sleep

I'm sure I can't say this any better than Matthew Walker in his book Why We Sleep. And no doubt you know how good it feels to get good rest. I get my 8 every night. 

I have had bouts of time with insomnia and my heart goes out to you if you're struggling. Just know eating less sugar and alcohol, exercise and meditation all help to make your nights full of zzz's.

 

If I'm really stressed I will take valerian root (about 200-500mg) and sometimes 0.5mg of melatonin.

Meditation

My preferred meths is transcendental meditation.
